Abandoned Prison

There are many abandoned prisons around the world. Some of them become tourist attractions, i.e. Fremantle Gaol, some turn into housing estates, i.e. Pentridge Prison, and some even become museums and places where people meet to tell ghost stories i.e. Old Melbourne Gaol. Others however, are just left plain abandoned, perhaps only visited by neighbourhood kids or those that enjoy the eerie feel. The prison below is one of those, more pictures here.

I believe in these difficult and mean-spirited times in which we live there needs to be a message of hope. Just a single image that speaks to us of love, harmony, peace and joy. An image that suggests the universal brotherhood of man. I have found that image, and I ask that you take a moment to be inspired by it.
