Since being founded in 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Google has grown astronomically fast. It now has a chain of products other than the original search engine and incredibly runs over one million servers in data centers around the world, and processes over one billion search requests and twenty petabytes of user-generated data every day. These figures will only increase with time.
