What exactly is partying?
Essentially it's a gathering of people who have been invited by a host for the purposes of socialising, conversation, or recreation. A party will typically feature food and beverages, and often music and dancing.

OnlineEducation.org put together the info-graphic below detailing the humble beginnings of partying. From the origins of beer and after parties, to dinner parties in the time of Jesus Christ to Woodstock and the advent of discos and internet socialising.
