The Worst Ways To Die

As seen on it Thing (link above) every person has their own opinion on what would be the worst way to go, depending on what they fear the most or consider the most horrible.
Below are a few of what's generally considered to be the most terrible deaths.
A dreadful torture method and bizarre ritual rarely practiced anymore except by certain tribes in remote areas of the world, being skinned alive is a long and utterly painful process.
While most accidental cases of fire in which people die, they are not burned alive but are killed by carbon monoxide poisoning before the flames reach them. However, for those who do not die in such a humane way, death by flames is a slow and painful death.
Drowning is said to one of the scarier ways in which to die, but that the experience is not painful. (Said by those that had drowned and lived to tell about it). The process of drowning only takes a few minutes but it is slow enough that you understand what’s happening. As the oxygen runs out, the individual experiences suffocation by water which fills the lungs up with liquid, blocking the airways. The main cause of death is actually cardiac arrest and hypoxia due to the lack of oxygen.
Being buried alive in one fear that has many terrified as it not only brings up the fear of suffocation, but is also triggers the fear of claustrophobia, a very common apprehension of enclosed spaces. Being intentionally buried alive is an unlawful form of torture, murder or execution. Unfortunately accidental burial may occur from a natural disaster such as a landslide or the collapse of a building. Death occurs through one or more of the following: asphyxiation, dehydration, starvation, or (in cold climates) hypothermia and can be slow and very scary.
Necrotizing fasciitis is an infection caused by bacteria. It basically eats away at the skin, fat, and tissue covering the muscles. Necrotizing fasciitis is very rare but grave as 1 out of 4 people who get this infection die from it.
