In 1999 about 27% of Americans used a cell phone, by 2009 that figure has risen to 89%!
There are approximately 5 billion cellular network subscriptions worldwide at present.
Almost a third of people now say they couldn't live without their phone, and half of the teen population believe their social life would be non-existent without one.
The info-graphic below sums up just how mobile phones are taking over our lives in many different ways. Click on the image to visit the source if it displays incorrectly.

When they first arrived on the scene, these new drives making use of flash memory were referred to by a myriad of different names by different companies and consumers. Names such as thumb drive, memory stick, usb key, flash disk and many more were common. Fortunately this has settled down now and the names "USB Flash Drive" or simply "USB Drive" have become the industry standard.
One thing we're all in agreance on however, is their superiority to predecessors such as floppy disks. One advantage is the freedom designers now have to vary the look of a USB Drive to practically anything your heart desires. See below some creative USB Flash Drive designs. Search engines have a fantastic feature where if you start typing a phrase, they will automatically give you the most commonly used search terms beginning with those words.
The funny thing is, it tells you a lot about what people are really interested in.
