Alexander Graham Bell was the first to be awarded a patent for the electric telephone by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in March 1876. Since them how far the humble phone has come!

According to Wikipedia global surface temperature increased by 0.74 ± 0.18 °C (1.33 ± 0.32 °F) during the 20th century and climate model projections indicate that the global surface temperature is likely to rise a further 1.1 to 6.4 °C (2.0 to 11.5 °F) during the 21st century.


2010 tied with 2005 and 1998 as the warmest on record, according to a ranking compiled by the United Nation s that points to a long-term warming trend.

When they first arrived on the scene, these new drives making use of flash memory were referred to by a myriad of different names by different companies and consumers. Names such as thumb drive, memory stick, usb key, flash disk and many more were common. Fortunately this has settled down now and the names "USB Flash Drive" or simply "USB Drive" have become the industry standard.
One thing we're all in agreance on however, is their superiority to predecessors such as floppy disks. One advantage is the freedom designers now have to vary the look of a USB Drive to practically anything your heart desires. See below some creative USB Flash Drive designs.
