At the National Geographic Channel a team of engineers, scientists and a couple of balloon pilots recently got to work on seeing just how difficult recreating a flying house could really be.

The house from the hit movie "Up" is being recreated for the series called How Hard Can It Be?

It all happened at a private east Los Angeles airfield. The end result saw an 18-feet high model home being lifted by 300 colourful weather balloons.

In a one hour flight the house reached heights of 10,000 feet!
